Student Health & Well-Being

At the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE), we prioritize the well-being of our students by providing a comprehensive array of wellness resources designed to support their mental and physical health. Recognizing the diverse needs and geographical distribution of our students across the United States, we have developed a robust wellness infrastructure to ensure that help is always accessible.

Onsite Student Wellness Counselor
Our onsite Student Wellness Counselor is a cornerstone of our wellness services. Available for in-person and virtual meetings, the counselor offers personalized support and guidance, making it easy for students to access professional mental health services from the comfort of their own space. Our counselor is available Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and supports crisis response and follow up 24 hours a day.  These services are provided to ACHE students at no additional cost.

Extended Student Wellness Services
ACHE provides 24/7 access to wellness resources. These services include regular counseling services, psychiatric services, psychological services, medication management, and crisis response. These services are provided to ACHE students at no additional cost and are available 24 hours per day, seven days per week, 365 days per year.

Local Access to Wellness and Crisis Services
ACHE has ensured that urgent and emergency care services are available at each core location site. These facilities are equipped to handle urgent health concerns, providing students with immediate care when it’s most needed. Financial responsibility for these services is at the expense of the student.

At ACHE, we believe that supporting our students’ health and wellness is paramount to their success. By offering virtual counseling, 24/7 wellness resources through Academic Live Care, and readily accessible emergency departments, we strive to create a supportive and nurturing environment that promotes overall well-being. Our commitment is to ensure that all ACHE students have the resources they need to thrive both academically and personally, no matter where they are located.
