Art on the Border 2022 – A Partnership that Works!
After a two-year absence due to the Covid-19 virus, Art on the Border returned with their annual art show and sale that was held July 22nd and 23rd, 2022 at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education’s Research Institute Health and Wellness Institute.
ACHE hires research leader to help launch health and wellness center
Dr. Jeffrey Osborn will join the Fort Smith-based Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) as the vice president of research. The hiring is part of the college taking another step to advance medical research at the ACHE Research Institute Health and Wellness Center.
A League of Their Own
Drs. Reed and Kaci Handlery, who both CrossFit themselves, created the modified weight training program as both a community service and as a research program. Trained as physical therapists, the duo both teach as assistant professors at the School of Physical Therapy at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE).

State Education Board approves new charter school campuses in Fort Smith
The Arkansas Board of Education on Thursday approved plans for a fifth Haas Hall Academy charter school campus to open in the 2023-24 school year in Fort Smith. The new school will operate in affiliation with the private Arkansas Colleges of Health Education.

As a graduate of Arkansas Tech University, Chris Brown began his career in public accounting as a staff accountant in 2010 at Landmark CPAs in Fort Smith. While at Landmark, Brown rose to become Audit Manager. In 2021, he joined Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) as the Director of Accounting and was promoted to Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in January 2022, as a licensed CPA in Arkansas.
