Jarred Rego
Jarred Rego has devoted his professional career to public and private sector service with a particular interest in strengthening and improving the areas where he lives. Jarred served in leadership staff roles for a Member of Congress and the Mayor of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Upon moving to Fort Smith in 2017, he has been an active community leader with a strong and diverse network of connections and over five years of local fundraising experience. While serving as the Senior Development Officer for the Mercy Health Foundation, Jarred played a lead role in multimillion dollar campaigns to stand up a neurosurgery program and to construct a comprehensive cancer care center. Jarred was elected to the Fort Smith Board of Directors in 2020 and serves as the Vice Mayor and City Director for Ward 1. Member of the Leadership Fort Smith Class of 2020. Campaign Coordinator and Chief Strategist for the 2018 George McGill for Mayor Campaign. Jarred and his wife Micah are the proud parents of three wonderful children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, golfing, watching and coaching baseball, and hiking. Jarred and his family attend First Presbyterian Church in downtown Fort Smith.
