Jarred Rego has devoted his professional career to public and private sector service with a particular interest in strengthening and improving the areas where he lives. Jarred served in leadership staff roles for a Member of Congress and the Mayor of Colorado Springs, Colorado. Upon moving to Fort Smith in 2017, he has been an active community leader with a strong and diverse network of connections and over five years of local fundraising experience. While serving as the Senior Development Officer for the Mercy Health Foundation, Jarred played a lead role in multimillion dollar campaigns to stand up a neurosurgery program and to construct a comprehensive cancer care center. Jarred was elected to the Fort Smith Board of Directors in 2020 and serves as the Vice Mayor and City Director for Ward 1. Member of the Leadership Fort Smith Class of 2020. Campaign Coordinator and Chief Strategist for the 2018 George McGill for Mayor Campaign. Jarred and his wife Micah are the proud parents of three wonderful children. In his spare time, he enjoys reading, golfing, watching and coaching baseball, and hiking. Jarred and his family attend First Presbyterian Church in downtown Fort Smith.
Rachel Dahl joins the Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement as the Director of Special Events and Alumni Engagement. Rachel is a native of Fort Smith, Arkansas and she earned a Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management from the University of Arkansas. She has spent the last 10 years running different ministries and planning events at Community Bible Church. Rachel also spent time learning all aspects of hospitality under the leadership at the Capital Hotel including planning large events for the Stephen’s Corporation. Rachel, her husband, Andrew and their little boy, Jack Parker, live in Fort Smith. Rachel enjoys singing karaoke, calling the Hogs and trying new recipes or restaurants with her husband.

Michelle Faucher joins the Office of Advancement and Alumni Engagement as the Advancement Coordinator. A proud native of Van Buren, Arkansas, Michelle earned her Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Arkansas. She brings a strong background in nonprofit outreach, strategic partnerships, and policy advocacy. Michelle’s previous experience includes policy, community work, and grassroots efforts in child welfare and education in Arkansas and Washington D.C. Deeply committed to service, she continues to volunteer with CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) and Policy Summits with Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families.
Comprised of community leaders who share their ideas, experiences and insights, the ACHE Board of Advocates serves to advance the mission of the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education. The Board of Advocates is approved by the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education Board of Trustees and serve multi-year staggered terms.
