ACHE OT Inaugural Class

Fort Smith, AR – The Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) is thrilled to announce that the ACHE School of Occupational Therapy (ACHE OT) has achieved full accreditation for the maximum term allowed, seven years, until the next review occurs from the Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education (ACOTE). This milestone reflects the exceptional quality and dedication of our ACHE Occupational Therapy program, faculty, and staff.

ACHE President and CEO Kyle D. Parker, JD shared, “I am immensely proud of the entire OT Faculty and Staff, whose diligent and incredible work, under the brilliant leadership of Dr. Jennifer Moore, has brought the ACHE School of OT to full accreditation. This achievement stands as a testament to their unwavering commitment to excellence and the success of our students.”

The ACHE OT mission is to educate highly skilled and compassionate occupational therapy professionals and to prepare them to advocate for those with limited opportunities for occupational engagement. This accreditation is vital as it ensures the program meets the highest standards of occupational therapy education, fostering confidence in the quality of the curriculum and instruction.

For ACHE OT students, this milestone secures a strong foundation for their professional journey, opening doors to advanced career opportunities and providing a legacy of excellence that will benefit them for years to come! The inaugural class of the ACHE Occupational Therapy program will graduate as a Doctor of Occupational Therapy on May 17, 2025.
