FORT SMITH, AR — Kyle D. Parker, JD, President and CEO of the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE), has been named the recipient of the 2026 Northwest Arkansas Business Impact Award, recognizing leaders who have made a significant and lasting impact on their communities and industries.
The award was presented during the Northwest Arkansas Outstanding Business Awards luncheon in Springdale on Tuesday, March 10. Parker was selected by an independent panel of judges for his leadership and contributions to economic development and healthcare access in the region.
A Fort Smith native, Parker has played a pivotal role in the development and growth of ACHE since being appointed president and CEO in 2014. Under his leadership, the institution has grown into a comprehensive health sciences campus dedicated to educating the next generation of healthcare professionals and expanding access to care throughout the Fort Smith metro.
Today, the ACHE campus spans more than 850,000-square-feet across 542 acres and includes academic facilities, student housing, community amenities, and ongoing development projects designed to support ACHE’s mission of improving health and wellness in Arkansas and beyond.
Parker’s vision and leadership continue to shape ACHE’s impact on healthcare education, workforce development, and community growth across the Fort Smith region.
