Cortney VanMeter, PT, DPT

Dr. Cortney VanMeter is an adjunct faculty instructor for the ACHE School of Physical Therapy. She strongly believes in the positive influence physical therapy can have on the health and wellness of individuals in all stages of life and finds joy in influencing the future of the PT profession through education and mentorship. Cortney proudly co-owns a private pediatric practice which offers school and clinic-based therapy services within her home community and the surrounding area. Early in her career, she also assisted in the development of Mercy Fort Smith’s Pediatric Therapy program. Cortney received her Doctor of Physical Therapy degree and Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science at the University of Central Arkansas and with over 8 years of clinical experience, she has practiced in multiple settings including inpatient/outpatient pediatrics, neonatal intensive care, home health, hospice, outpatient therapy, inpatient rehabilitation, and acute care. Outside of “work” Cortney enjoys spending time with family and friends and soaking up life on the farm with her husband, son, and dogs.
