Will Conrad, PT, DPT, EdD

Dr. Will Conrad is an associate professor in the School of Physical Therapy at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education. He completed his Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) and Doctor of Education (EdD) at the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences. Dr. Conrad holds an orthopedic manual therapy certification (MTC), is a credentialed BLS instructor for the American Heart Association, is certified in Dry Needling (CMTPT) and most recently became a Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT). Clinically, Dr. Conrad has worked in the areas of Orthopedics, Home Health, and Acute Care. He has almost 20 years of graduate level physical therapy and health science teaching experience and has published an anatomy textbook series as well as an extremity biomechanics textbook. Dr. Conrad has also published on anatomy/biomechanics related topics in a number of different journals including Clinical Anatomy, Austin Journal of Anatomy, Journal of Women’s Health Physical Therapy and the Journal of Occupational Therapy Education. His current research interest revolves around spatial aptitude and its contribution to the learning and understanding of Anatomy. Dr. Conrad serves on the Board of the APTA Academy of Education and is currently the Chair of the APTA Anatomy Educators special interest group.
