Johnny has worked in the Information Technology industry since graduating from Alma High School in 1987. He enlisted in the United States Air Force, where he remained for six years. While serving, he coordinated radar connectivity between multi-branch assets during Desert Storm as well as US Customs counter-narcotics operations. After leaving the military, he attended the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, pursuing a degree in IT with an emphasis in programming and later network administration. Johnny entered the private sector to work as a Systems Administrator for a diesel truck dealership. In 1999, he joined Loislaw, an electronic legal publishing company and served in various roles from Quality Control Supervisor to Manager of Support Services. He was responsible for managing the global technical and customer support for hundreds of electronic legal research products for Loislaw as well as their parent company, Wolters Kluwer.

In 2012, Johnny joined the IT Department at USA Truck and worked as a Systems Administrator, Security Administrator, and finally as the IT Service Manager. His prior job history instilled a strong emphasis on customer service, which served him well when he joined the ACHE team in April 2021 as a Support Administrator.

Johnny is married to another Alma native, Vicki (Glenn). Together they live in Poteau, Oklahoma and have five boys, Alex, Aaron (in Heaven), Nixon, John and Matthew as well as two dogs, Bindy Straw and Romeo Fajita, and two “mini” pigs, Bella Porkahontas and Baby Groot.

In his spare time, Johnny has spent four decades amassing an impressive comic book collection, passed certification requirements to obtain an amateur radio FCC license to operate Ham Radios and has volunteered in various technology-related capacities within Life.Church Fort Smith.
