Mark Stillwell, MD, FACP

Mark Lee Stillwell, MD grew up in southwest Kansas. He received his undergraduate degree in Zoology with honors from the University of Oklahoma and was in Phi Beta Kappa. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine and was in Alpha Omega Alpha. Dr. Stillwell completed his internship, residency, and a chief residency in Internal Medicine, followed by a fellowship in Infectious Diseases in the University of Maryland Medical Systems. He is board-certified in Infectious Diseases and Internal Medicine and has practiced medicine in Western and Northwestern Arkansas since 1988. He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Physicians, has served as Chief of Staff and Head of Medical Subspecialties at Sparks Regional Medical Center, and taught with UAMS for 3 decades. He has been a Boy Scout leader and enjoys hiking, backpacking, and fishing in his spare time.
