Monica Rojas Chavez, MD

Monica Rojas is an MD born and graduated in Costa Rica. Dr. Rojas helps identify and develop collaborative efforts with hospitals and clinics in other parts of the world in order to give the students opportunities for early clinical experiences as well as clinical rotations during their third and fourth year of medical school. Dr. Rojas works on preparing ARCOM students with a better understanding of a foreign language and cultural approach to ensure they are prepared for their cross-cultural experience. Dr. Rojas has over 20 years of experience working with nonprofit organizations in at-risk communities in Latin America, serving the underserved.

Accomplishments

Developing and Directing free clinic “Clinica Medica Mision en Accion” in Sardinal, Costa Rica, helping the people in at-risk surrounded communities with low income and no insurance bringing medical attention, food distribution, education.
