Brandy Ree is an Associate Professor & Chair of Biochemistry & Cell Biology. After earning her Bachelors of Science in Biology from University of Arkansas Fort Smith, she went on to complete her Ph.D. in Cell and Molecular Biology from University of Arkansas. She served as an Assistant Professor at the University of Arkansas Fort Smith, where she taught a variety of courses including Genetics, Biochemical Genetics, Cell Signaling, Human Anatomy and Human Physiology. Her primary research focus is cell death, cancer and neurodegenerative diseases, utilizing Drosophila as a model organism.
