Sonya Lemke resided in Fort Worth, Texas before moving to Fort Smith, Arkansas in 2019. Her thirty year plus career as certified healthcare professional and an industry-based corporate librarian, lead her to academic librarianship. In 2012, she received her Master’s in Library Science from the University of North Texas. She blends her experience in the healthcare industry with her love of books, computers, knowledge, literacy, learning, and service to others.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband in nature, reading, photography, hiking, traveling, exploring new restaurants, movie watching and being with her family and friends.
