Eduardo A. deMondesert, MD

Eduardo A. deMondesert, MD, graduated from Universidad Nacional Pedro Henriquez Urena (UNPHU). He completed his Internship and Internal Medicine Residency, and GI Fellowship at The Graduate Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. Dr. deMondesert completed an Advanced Endoscopy/Therapeutic ERCP/Junior Faculty at the University of Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami, FL.

Dr. deMondesert is board certified in Gastroenterology. He has received several awards including the University of Pennsylvania Pearls Teaching Award in 1992. Previous faculty appointments include: Junior Faculty, Gastroenterology Division, University of Miami Jackson Memorial Hospital and Assistant Clinical Instructor, University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine.

In addition to his busy medical practice, Dr. deMondesert is the current Chief of Medical Staff at Mercy Hospital, Fort Smith. He is very active in the community, currently serving on the UAFS Foundation Board, Mercy Board of Trustees, and the Reynolds Cancer Support House Board. Dr. deMondesert is fluent in English, Spanish, and French. He and his wife, Rosalba, have three children – Laura, Marielle, and Daniel.
