Description 

Opioid prescribing rates in our region continue to be higher than then national norm. Our keynote speakers will give providers non-opioid treatment options for their patients with chronic pain.

Learning Objectives 

After completing this activity, learners will be able to:

1. Identify levels of opioid use disorders/substance use disorders.

2. Recognize the approaches and strategies used by multi-disciplinary teams in the treatment of persons with chronic pain.

3. Describe interprofessional team strategies for improving patient care in populations with opioid use disorder.

4. Discuss ideal situations for referral to a manual therapist.
