Vertical Garden Program

Arkansas has the highest rate of food insecurity in the United States. The Arkansas Colleges of Health Education, Research Institute Health and Wellness Center is addressing health and nutrition education in select local schools through the Vertical Aeroponic Garden Program. The RIHWC provides the schools with the Vertical Aeroponic Gardens, lessons that can be incorporated into all aspects of the core curriculum, and school demonstrations from ACHE faculty and staff.
