President & CEO’s Welcome

Kyle D. Parker, JD

President & CEO of Arkansas Colleges of Health Education

To Serve the Underserved and Promote a Healthier Arkansas

On behalf of the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE), it is my honor and privilege to welcome you to our institution and to offer you the opportunity to share in our vision for the promotion of healthcare and a healthy living environment in the State of Arkansas.

ACHE was gifted 200 acres of land by the Fort Chaffee Redevelopment Authority in 2014. Since then, our campus has grown to include 542 acres, located in the cities of Fort Smith and Barling. With overwhelming support from individuals, local, state, and federal governments, along with community organizations and financial institutions, ACHE constructed the 102,000-square-foot healthcare facility. The facility houses the corporate headquarters of ACHE, the Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (ARCOM), and the Master of Science in Biomedicine (MSB). The College of Health Sciences, another national award-winning educational facility was completed in 2020 and is the home to the ACHE School of Physical Therapy and the ACHE School of Occupational Therapy.

The Village at Heritage was developed to help promote and support healthy living environments and to give the ACHE campus, as well as the community, dining and retail shopping. Celebration Garden and Wellness Park, an eight-acre recreation area, provides walking trails, inclusive playground equipment, and a half-mile labyrinth.

The ACHE Research Institute Health & Wellness Center (RIHWC), a 317,000-square-foot building where a variety of health and wellness programs, including a 90,000-square-foot biomedical research suite, are located at the 1000 Fianna Way campus. The newest ACHE program, Master of Public Health (MPH) will be housed at RIHWC.

At the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education, we invite you to join us as we not only change the direction of healthcare in Arkansas but also the quality of life for people in the surrounding regions.

Sincerely,

Kyle D. Parker, J.D.
