Runners take off, Saturday, Feb. 18, 2023, in the annual Heart ACHE 5K fundraiser at the Arkansas Colleges of Health Education in Barling. The event, organized by the Sports Medicine Club at ACHE, raises money for students to attend a national sports medicine convocation in the spring, with additional donations going toward the charities of runners’ choices. The club also states it hopes the competition encourages others to learn about and improve their cardiac health.
