FORT SMITH, AR — The Arkansas Colleges of Health Education (ACHE) and John Brown University (JBU) have entered into an affiliation agreement aimed at simplifying the admission process for JBU students pursuing advanced degrees in healthcare fields.
The agreement establishes a clear admissions pathway for qualified JBU students to ACHE’s Arkansas College of Osteopathic Medicine (ARCOM), Master of Science in Biomedicine (MSB), Occupational Therapy (OT), and Physical Therapy (PT) programs. JBU students who meet program-specific academic and admission requirements will be guaranteed an interview.
JBU representatives at the affiliation signing held at ACHE included Robert Norwood, Ph.D., Vice President of Academic Affairs; Trisha Posey, Ph.D., Dean of Undergraduate Studies; and Timothy Wakefield, Ph.D., Department Chair of Biology.
Through this partnership, ACHE continues its mission to shape the future of healthcare in Arkansas — working hand in hand with institutions like JBU to “paint the state green” with future healthcare professionals committed to serving their communities.
