Alexis Kendrick is the Program Director for the Master of Public Program and an assistant professor in the School of Physical Therapy. She earned her Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership in 2022 with her dissertation focused on increasing American Indian student enrollment in graduate education. She earned a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree in 2016 from Arkansas State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Arkansas Tech University in 2010. Her team-based approach can be found both in the classroom and the community with an emphasis on collaborative learning and interprofessional relationships. Dr. Kendrick has specialized training in pelvic health with additional education regarding women's health, pre/post-partum rehabilitation, and trauma awareness in physical therapy. Her research is focused on empowering rural communities for improved pelvic health outcomes through active learning.
